THE VOYNICH MANUSCRIPT

The mysterious Voynich Manuscript is written in a language which nobody has ever deciphered, this being the only instance of it in the world. Illustrations portray strange plants, astronomical charts and women laying about in weird plumbing. It is about 170 pages long. It has been theorized that John Dee and Edward Kelley may have written it and sold it to Rudolph II of Bohemia in the mid 16th century for 300 gold ducats, but others have claimed that it dates from the 13th century. It is a fun object for crytographers and those studying artificial languages. As well as in the Juice Museum, this volume also appears in Eddie Gamete's library in Slaughtermatic.
